Daimler AG to Buy 25 Percent of MV Agusta

Last July, rumors surfaced about Daimler’s plan to buy MV Agusta, which indicated that the German multinational corporation might be planning to expand its vehicle range to include motorcycles. Recently, Reuters confirmed about the imminent move of Daimler to buy 25 percent of the Italian motorcycle’s shares. The source claimed Daimler will be buying the stake of MV Agusta through its Mercedes-AMG performance division. The agreement would also include a seat on the board of MV Agusta. Car2Go Goes to Brooklyn

Car2Go recently announced its expansion in Brooklyn. According to The Washington Post, the operation of Daimler AG’s carsharing service in the area will start on October 25 this year. Daimler May Stop Making EV Batteries

In 2008, Daimler AG announced a joint venture with Evonik to produce Li-Tec batteries for electric vehicles. Fast-forward to the present, which is more than five years after the deal, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz is already contemplating on selling its Li-Tec battery cell plants in Germany. Studies Reveal that Mercedes-Benz is the Most Innovative Auto Brand

A comprehensive study conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) and Center of Automotive Management (CAM) revealed that the Mercedes-Benz brand is the leader of innovation when it comes to automobiles according to a new report published by Daimler AG in the Media section of its official website. Mercedes-Benz Museum Celebrates 8th Birthday on May 25

The Mercedes-Benz Museum houses the rich and colorful history of the Mercedes-Benz brand as well as the other brands associated with it. The museum sits in the international headquarters of Daimler AG at Stuttgart, Germany. Its masterfully-designed structure was completed and opened on May 19, 2006. Overall, the building has an exhibit area of 16,500 square meters.
