Dieter Zetsche Remains as Daimler CEO and Mercedes Head Until End of 2019

As of February 17, 2016, Daimler AG announced that Dr. Dieter Zetsche will remain as the company’s Chairman of the Board of Management and the head of Mercedes-Benz Cars. According to the Global Media Site of Daimler, the contract of the Daimler supremo was extended from the end of 2016 to run up to December 31, 2019. Daimler AG Works On Wireless Charging Tech With Qualcomm

Future Mercedes-Benz models may feature the latest technology in the market with the strategic collaboration between Daimler and Qualcomm, as shown on a worldcarfans.com report. While the two companies did not reveal any details about the deal, they said the initial stage of the agreement will concentrate on wireless charging technology for use inside the vehicle, 3G/4G connectivity and the implementation of the Halo wireless electric vehicle charging technology of Qualcomm.
