Nico Rosberg’s Never Give Up Attitude Impresses Dr. Dieter Zetsche

Nico Rosberg may not have been able to put up a great fight in Abu Dhabi in the 2014 season-ender race due to mechanical issues, but he surely gained the admiration of a lot of people in the way he handled the last fight, particularly Dr. Dieter Zetsche. According to Germany’s Sport Bild, the Daimler boss praised the success of the Mercedes Formula One team in an internal Christmas letter to employees. He commended the amazing performance of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, which led to its series of back-to-back wins and Constructors’ Championship. Selection Of New MBUSA Head Down To a Handful

As easily as the former head of Mercedes-Benz’s US head was removed, his replacement hasn’t been announced yet. Not that there aren’t qualified candidates who can’t fill that position. However, despite former CEO Lieb’s transgressions, the fact is that Mercedes-Benz USA performed reasonably well under his stewardship. And apparently, he was well regarded and appreciated by the dealer network. But now, the final candidates have reportedly been narrowed down to five serious contenders who have top-level responsibilities in countries as diverse as China, Canada, Turkey, England and Australia. New political party in Germany may put cap on Autobahn

There is a new force to be reckoned with in Germany, especially to Mercedes-Benz owners wanting to keep their engine revving happily. The Green Party has risen to power in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and word is that they’re planning to put a cap on the maximum speed limit on portions on the Autobahn which are currently limitless. How tight of a cap? Let’s just say aroud 120 kph, or roughly 74.5 mph.
