Long-Wheelbase Model For Mercedes-Benz C-Class Planned

A long-wheelbase model will be developed by Mercedes-Benz for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan for the Chinese market, according to a recent report on Reuters. Thomas Weber, development head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, said the development is part of the plans of the luxury vehicle manufacturer in rolling out production of the best-selling model of the company in the last six months in four continents. Mercedes-Benz Gets Strong Sales in Canada Last Month

Today, Mercedes-Benz Canada released its sales report for the month of May. So far, it showed a strong performance of the brand in the country. According to Canada Newswire, a grand total of 3,300 Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and Smart cars were sold last month in Canada. This year marks a total of 14,028 units sold via the MB Canadian retail network alone. There was a recorded figure of 2,820 units retailed for the passenger cars luxury light trucks sold in the country. Eyewitnesses recently reported seeing a new Mercedes-Benz prototype. According to Motor Authority, the car is the new C-Class which will be available sometime in 2014.
