After working with the E-Class, Brabus worked next on the S-Class model and took it to a different level of beauty.

The tuner gave the AMG a more sport appearance with the custom BRABUS body components that are made in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim. They are offering painting options for aerodynamic enhancement kit as well, glossy titanium finish and a painted body color. Aside for that, the kit is equipped with an improved front and rear spoiler and diffuser that all gave the car a smoother ride especially in high speed.

Meanwhile, the center diffuser now had a reflector. They also put the stainless steel BRABUS flap control exhaust system that features a variable exhaust note that can be manipulated from the steering wheel and tailpipes coated with cast-aluminum ceramics. Adding to its beauty is the interior made from the BRABUS upholstery shop. It was dressed with leather and Alcantara and can be adapted to suit the customer’s preference. The buyer also have a choice between exotic wood or carbon fiber trimmings.

The engine has been tuned by the company as well, giving it 6.3L V8 fast revving and 5.5L V8 biturbo engine which made the BRABUS’ take on the S-Class a perfect tune in terms of beauty and performance.

Chrome SLR Mclaren Is A Silver Bullet

Although it’s the SLS that has been hogging the limelight these days, the Mercedes SLR McLaren still has enough credibility as a sports car to be taken seriously. Now, this chromed example is an even more incredible example of one of Mercedes’ finest.

Reportedly owned by an Arab, this car was given the full treatment, as it’s got 20-inch chrome wheels and chrome tinted windows. Since Brabus handled the modifications, we can assume that the upgrades did not stop with the exterior. Some engine tuning was also done to increase output to 650 horsepower but because this car was caught moving, no detail shots of the interior are available. It’s safe to say that it won’t be stock. With a top speed of 340 km/h and at 0-100 time of 3.6 seconds, this car should look like the proverbial silver bullet as it flashes down the road.

Super tuner Brabus has outed its latest project, which it claims to be the fastest 4-seat cabriolet at the moment: the Brabus E V12 Cabriolet that’s based on the E-Class cabriolet. As you can guess by its name, the tuner has outfitted the car with its own Brabus 800 V12 twin-turbo 12-cylinder engine to produce an astounding 800 horsepower with 1,047 lb.-ft. of torque that’s electronically limited to 811 lb.-ft.

The V12 engine is connected to a 5-speed automatic tranny and comes with a high-performance exhaust system that features stainless steel construction and four tailpipes. The car’s 0-60 speed is pegged at 3.7 seconds, and it gets to 200 kph (124 mph) in a mere 9.9 seconds. According to the tuner, top speed reaches a whopping 231 mph.

Outside the car, we see some LED daytime running lights right at the front apron, along with some sport fenders up front and carbon-fiber fender flares at the car’s rear side. Prospective buyers can choose from different 19-inch performance tires from different brands such as YOKOHAMA, Pirelli, and Continental.

As for the interior, there a black-leather-and-red finish to go with the ergonomic steering wheel, carbon fiber for the dash, console, and side trim, as well as new gauges that include a 250 mph dial speedometer.

The E V12 cabriolet starts at 478,000 euros, or around $679,000 and is built on demand.

Brabus creates kits for S-Class variants

The guys at Brabus just can’t stop fiddling around with anything that wears the three-pointed star badge. This time, their latest performance package has been made specially for a number of Mercedes-Benz models, namely the S63 and CL63 AMG as well as the S500 and CL500. Quite a deal, considering that it fits onto four model variants each having Mercedes-Benz’s latest twin-turbo V8 engine under its hood.

Of course, Brabus doesn’t stop at perking up the engine. Besides the powerplant, the tuning company has created a cosmetic and handling package to shape the look and feel of these four models in true Brabus style. For the price of 4.9k euro and 5.9k euro respectively, owners of the CL500 and S500 shall have the option of choosing between two engine programs for the 4.7-liter twin turbo V8 – one which boosts power from 435hp and 700Nm all the way up to 482hp and 780Nm, while the other setup involves a supplementary intercooler to cool all 520hp and 820Nm or resulting power.

Yes, these figures are quite hard to digest at first. Perhaps a top speed of 188mph is a little bit easier to understand. That’s what the S500 and CL500 will be capable of once equipped with the more powerful kit when coupled with the Brabus Vmax Unit.

Meanwhile, the CL63 AMG and S63 models are even more fortunate because once Brabus is done with them, they should easily pull 620hp and 1,000Nm of peak torque once upgraded with a water-to-air intercooler plus optimization of their ECUs. Price plays around 6k euro for this kit. Enough said, guys. Time to check out the images below.

Brabus Introduces Apple Overload With iBusiness 2.0

05 brabus ibusiness 20 597x396 Brabus Introduces Apple Overload With iBusiness 2.0Mention the word Brabus and the cognoscenti immediately equate this tuner with over the top modifications to Mercede-Benz cars and even Unimogs. This time, Brabus set its sights into turning an S-Class Mercedes into the ultimate connected car for the busy executive and power broker.

The Brabus 800 iBusiness 2.0 is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 with 800 horsepower and 1,047 pound-feet of torque, pulling the car to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. An electronically-limited top speed of 219 mph can take driver and passengers to a meeting in a hurry. But if things need to be acted on, the iBusiness allows its passengers to conduct its business on the road. To accomplish this, Brabus has outfitted the iBusiness conversion with a trunk-mounted Mac Mini connected to a 15.2-inch TFT, 16:9 aspect ratio monitor that mechanically unfolds from the alcantara-coated headliner. This monitor can also be used as an external display for the two iPad 2s mounted in the electrically deployed and adjustable tables mounted behind the front seats. The tables serve as secure platforms for the iPads and Apple Bluetooth keyboard. Video conferencing is enabled via Apple’s Facetime system. To tie all this tech together, a WiFi network comprised of UMTS and HDSPA networking protocols are employed. Brabus has also developed a custom app for the iPads that allows passengers to control Mercedes’ COMAND infotainment system. Not all the iBusiness gadgets are necessarily for work, however, so a 64-gig Apple iPod Touch is mounted in the rear center console and sends music to either the standard S-Class sound system or a pair of Sennheiser Noise Gard headphones. A wireless DVBT television receiver allows iBusiness passengers to surf a few hundred channels for news or entertainment.
