Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Mule Spotted

A prototype of an upcoming model of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was spotted recently, as shown on a report from motor1.com. The prototype was seen sporting the body of the current generation, essentially making it a mule. The company is reportedly evaluating a number of prototypes of the new Sprinter using this method. Basing on the mule, the new Sprinter may use a variation of the elegant appearance of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class/Metris. Industry watchers expect the appearance of the new vehicle to focus on functionality since it is a van prioritizing features rather than design. Mercedes F1 Investigates the Spanish GP Incident

It could have been another dominant win for Mercedes AMG Petronas team in 2016 Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. The qualifying provided both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg a good start by landing on the first and second positions of the grid, respectively. However, hopes for another dominant win for the team were quashed when its drivers collided with each other just minutes after the race began. All-Women Team Represent Mercedes-Benz in Mille Miglia

An all-women team will be representing Mercedes-Benz Classic in the upcoming Mille Miglia. According to Daimler, race car driver and new brand ambassador of “She’s Mercedes” Susie Wolff will be riding in the cockpit of a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W198) with the legendary driver Ellen Lohr who is the only woman to ever win a DTM race. The company said that the decision to have the two women represent Mercedes is to highlight the “She’s Mercedes” program. F1: Epic crash knocks out both Mercedes cars in lap 1 of Spanish Grand Prix

Well, that escalated quickly. Lap one of the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix saw a Mercedes on Mercedes crash, taking out the top two contenders in the season so far. This paved the way for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to be the youngest race winner in Formula One history.  Right after the start, Hamilton was able to get ahead of Rosberg but the German managed to snag back the lead by turn 3.
