Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Boosted By Edo Competition

A Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG does not really need a power boost since the moment it drives out of the assembly line it already features a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine itself can produce 536 HP of power along with 560 lb-ft of torque, which is more than enough for the 2.5-ton truck to haul rather heavy loads. However, it appears that Edo Competition does not think that the capabilities offered by the stock vehicle is enough as it gave the G63 AMG a power boost, according to a report from carscoops.com. Rosberg settles for Second Place as Ricciardo wins Canadian GP

It took seven Grands Prix before anyone else was able to claim a victory, and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo was as good a bet as any to break the Mercedes AMG Petronas win streak. Ricciardo claimed his maiden GP win by overtaking the struggling Mercedes of Nico Rosberg with only three laps remaining in the 2014 Canadian Grand Prix, and the Australian driver never looked back. The two Mercedes cars pushed hard against each other as their rivalry continues to heat up. However, it looks like the competition is getting the better of their cars. Rosberg nursed a rear-brake problem, which slowed his car down and allowed Ricciardo to get past him, although kudos to him for still… Continue Reading »
