Famous Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus just unveiled its latest work. The new recipient for its tuning package was the Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet. The Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet is already packing a lot of power under its hood. Within the car lies a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine capable of delivering up to 585 hp and 900 Nm of torque. Combined with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the S63 cabrio is capable of accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Although information about the new electric SUV concept is still scarce, Autocar said the new SUV will likely compete against the Tesla Model X. Listen to the Sound of the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe

The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is the newest performance variant of the C-Class range. It features dynamic driving coupled with a good engine noise. The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe model takes its roots from the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport line. Early this year, Mercedes revealed that it will no longer maintain the AMG Sport segment. The short-lived lineup formerly bridged the gap between Mercedes-Benz models and the full-badge Mercedes-AMG versions. However, for the sake of streamlining its offerings or to prevent confusion, as some have said, all the models belonging to the AMG Sport line were absorbed by the Mercedes-AMG branding. The SLC was the first to ditch its AMG Sport variants…. Continue Reading »

2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA Is One Good-Looking Compact SUV

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA Class is a crossover of the compact GLC and the midsize GLE. It can also be a five-door hatchback version of the CLA compact sedan. But although it isn’t the roomiest crossover out in the market, it has the luxurious GL badge, and its sophisticated exterior and interior makes it your best bet for the ideal urban vehicle. The 2016 model year is the car’s only second year in the market, but it already received quite a number of minor features and option upgrades. The GLA is more elevated than its predecessor, sitting high on 18- or 19-inch wheels. It has a curvaceous body and exaggerated… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz A-Class: Practical, Functional and Stylish

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is the most anticipated Mercedes compact hatchback. The company aims to target younger urbanites to its compact sedan that has a sleek exterior and elegant interior. It didn’t disappoint. The A-Class is practical, functional and good-looking. Mercedes has finally turned the A-Class into a real contender, taking pride on its more conventional five-door hatch compared to the Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series. The 2016 mid-cycle refresh did little in exterior and interior design, and the engine stays the same save for some minor improvements. On the outside, the 2016 Mercedes A-Class looks similar to its predecessor, except for the redesigned bumpers, a slightly more upright grille, and… Continue Reading »

2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA: Small in Size for the Tight in Budget

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA is the German automaker’s smallest sedan, perfected to target a specific buyer base. Now on its third year, the CLA received just a number of trims, feature and option updates, but all the while maintaining its fairly average price range. There are a number of competitions in the market, namely the redesigned Audi A3, the BMW 2-Series, the Acura ILX sedan, the Buick Versano, the Lexus CT 200h hybrid, and the Infiniti QX30 by next year. The base CLA 250 has a single powertrain, though there’s a pricier version, too, that uses a more powerful version of the same basic engine setup. The CLA 250 promised… Continue Reading »

Should You Warm Up Your Mercedes Engine in the Cold?

The common notion during winter is that one should let his car be idle in the cold to warm up the engine. How many times did you leave your Mercedes-Benz out in the cold, believing it will somehow make the engine run smoother when it is warmed up? This is completely and utterly wrong based on reliable sources. Not only are you putting your car under harsh winter conditions, you’re doing more harm than good, too, because of this myth that it should be warmed up. According to former drag racer Stephen Ciatti, who also has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, said that idling one’s… Continue Reading »
