11 Confirmed Mercedes-Benz Vehicles for 2017

Giancarlo Perlas December 21, 2016

There are 11 confirmed Mercedes-Benz vehicles for 2017. A slideshow presentation of the German automaker dating back to July 21, 2016 revealed its product offensive for the coming year.

Based from the page 20 slide of the company’s presentation, which was leaked by Autocar months ago, expect three E-Class variants, one crossover, one S-Class model, two smart electric vehicles, one pickup, and three models derived from the Mercedes-AMG GT platform.

It was not clear before if the product roadmap indicated either the unveiling or the actual sale of the mentioned models. But based from the series of world premieres of Mercedes that happened this year, the slide likely shows the market release of the products.

It should be noted though that Mercedes is yet to debut the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLA, facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, and Mercedes-AMG GT C Coupe. So if Mercedes unveils them bearing the 2018 model year, they might come after 2017. Well, the label in the 2017 column of the slide is highlighted by an arrow pointing to the right anyway, which could mean some of the units displayed there will probably arrive in the market beyond 2017.

Spy shots of the facelifted GLA and S-Class already came out. The AMG GT C Coupe was also spotted recently. It is not yet clear when the facelifted GLA and S-Class will be launched but the two will possibly have their world premiere early next year. On the other hand, the AMG GT C Coupe is expected to be showcased in the public for the first time along the 50th anniversary celebration of AMG in 2017.

Below is the product offensive strategy of Mercedes-Benz from 2016 to 2017:
