MEC Design Tunes Old Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

The recent makeover given by MEC Design on an old Mercedes-Benz model is likely to appeal to people who seeing V8 engines used on small cars. MEC Design gave the makeover to an old Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. The design of the vehicle was maintained even as a ConDeni Nobilis set of wheels added to the appeal of the car that was introduced during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Mercedes-Benz Classic to Field 500 SL at ADAC Eifel Rally

At the ADAC Eifel Rally Festival, which is set to be held from July 25 through 27, Mercedes-Benz Classic is set to field a 500 SL rally version. At the helm of the vehicle will be Björn Waldegård, a former winner of the Bandama Rally in 1980 while driving a Mercedes-Benz 500 SLC. More EU Nations Could Block Mercedes-Benz Car Sales

France is only the beginning. With more EU governments deciding to take action against Daimler over the use of coolant in certain new Mercedes-Benz models, the German automaker could have a hard time sticking to its preferred automotive coolant. Some new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, and SL-Class models have been denied registration by France as Daimler continues to use R134a, the coolant banned by the EU starting  2013. Concept Model For Mercedes-Benz SL Produced By Design Students

A collaborative effort between StudioTorino and Mercedes-Benz resulted to a distinctive conceptual model of the Mercedes-Benz SL Class. The design was the result of work by design students from Italy who were able to utilize their skills on the luxury vehicle. A shooting brake was created when the brilliant students used a fixed roof instead of a folding one on the concept vehicle, which was named Coupe Torino.
