A few days from now, smart car fans will once again gather for the “smart times” event. For a number of years now, over 4,500 smart enthusiasts from 25 countries gather in a place to hang out, try new fortwo vehicles and of course, show off their prized possessions – their smart cars. The smart times 2012 will be at Hangar29 Waagnatie in Antwerp on August 23-August 26. To raise the excitement, smart created an advertising they titled, “smart fortwo: facelift”. Video: 2012 C3 AMG Black Series by Velos

Velos Designwerks, the tuner based in the state of Florida, is boasting of their new customization project based on the C63 AMG Black Series. The car is looking good with its ten-spoke design and titanium finished, as they swapped the AMG wheels for HRE P44SC wheels. The company also decided to give it a more muscular look when they painted the roof and grille with black. They also removed the rear wing, which made it look basic yet classy. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is all over the web now. Months before its debut, there are lots of spy photos of the ultimate car, all because of the rigid testing that the car manufacturer is doing to ensure that it will be one of the best cars that the world will ever see and ride. Seen in Nurburgring most of the time, the wider body kit Black Series is set apart from the standard SLS AMG. Spy Video: Upcoming C-Class Testing Under the Sun in Dubai

Check out this spy video from YT user fingerzdxb. It shows a couple of C-Class prototypes getting some testing action under the Dubai sun. According to fingerzdxb, the temperature in that part of Dubai then was at 43 degrees Celsius, or 110 degrees Fahrenheit. That was quite a hot afternoon (3pm) at the Sheikh Zayed Road last July 2nd. The vehicles in the video showed very little cladding, though the front and rear exteriors were still left bare. Spotted! The Mercedes McLaren SLR 722

If ‘old’ cars capture your attention, then you must be like Shmee150 who took this video. He spotted the McLaren Mercedes SLR 722 in the streets of London and he knew instantly that it is Youtube-worthy. The car has black light-alloy wheels that are 19-inch in size. The badge in red that says “722” adorns the car, the slightly modified tail lights made the good-looking car to appear even better. Performance wise, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, 300km/h in 21.4 and 200km/h in 10.2. Top speed is at 209mph which is tad faster than the standard SLR (by 1.9 mph).
