Here’s something to look for in this year’s Beijing Auto Show – the Mercedes-Benz Viano VISION DIAMOND. This luxurious version of the Viano will surely turn heads with its host of extravagant visual cues both inside and out. Chrome grille louvers, a two-tone paintjob and a blacked out radiator grille easily makes the VISION DIAMOND stand out, especially with a gold shimmering line running along the body to separate black and diamond white color tones. It is said that the devil lies in the details. The painted diamond adorning the B-pillar is proof of this along with two-tone rims on the five-spoke wheels and the brake discs featureing the brand… Continue Reading »

Here’s a video of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMGin Dubai made by Hamman, which we can say looks fierce. Alloy rims with wheels finished in matte black and designed with cross-spokes are called the Design Edition Race “Anodized”. The rear rims are measured at 11 by 21 inches while the front axle is sized at 9 by 21 inches. These rims also look stylish with titanium bolts that are corrosion resistant. The red paintjob looks very cool, and with the generous helping of chrome in this car, this tune truly rocks!

As part of an enhancement to its BlueEFFICIENCY package, Daimler has announced a new generator management system that will aid in further reducing the fuel consumption of its vehicles. To be introduced next month, the new generator management system converts kinetic energy generated by the vehicle into electrical energy, which is then stored. Feeding this heretofore wasted energy back into the electrical system means that the alternator’s load can be lessened, which in turn reduces the load on the engine. The system works seamlessly and transparently from the driver’s standpoint, and the management system works to heighten the charging rate of the battery when needed. Using kinetic energy from the… Continue Reading »
Discerning consumers know all about the Bang & Olufsen brand, those purveyors of high-end sound systems that grace the homes of the rich and famous. Now, B&O has designed and made such a high-end system for, of all vehicles, Mercedes’ Viano van. But before purists and audiophiles scoff at this development, know that the system, set to debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show, is to be fitted to the yacht-inspired Viano Pearl concept van. So think land yacht instead of cargo hauler. The 18-speaker Beosound Viano system is powered by a brace of Class D amps with a total output of 1,300 watts. Each neodymium magnet speaker is separately… Continue Reading »
The Viano Van Pearl shows what it is to be a luxury van. Outside the van, the incredible dull gray pebble color is really eye-catching. The flooring made of real wood chromatic glass tinted windows plus a high end sound system by Bang & Olufsen which they dubbed as “BeoSound Viano” makes it even more attractive. Meanwhile, the interior is comparable to a yacht which make it more in line with the theme of this vehicle – traveling. With Pearl Italian’s photographer, Carlo Borlenghi’s help, the modern yacht design is achieved. The Viano Van Pearl will premiere at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt on September and will “… show… Continue Reading »
