Apple to Launch iOS in the Car with Mercedes in Geneva

The competition between the two rivals in the smartphone and tablet industry have taken their new game to a higher level. Now, Apple and Android are also invading the systems of cars. In our recent report, we revealed that Daimler accidentally leaked the Projected Mode for Mercedes-Benz, which is Google’s in-car solution to integrate its Android systems within the luxury vehicle. Daimler accidentally leaks Google Projected Mode

When Internet companies’ upcoming products get leaked, it’s usually through tech blogs, insiders, or marketing ploys intended to drum up interest. This time, though, a job advertisement from a partner is the culprit, as Daimler, the parent company of German automaker Mercedes-Benz, unwittingly leaked Google’s “Projected Mode” via a job posting on its web site, which to our knowledge has since been amended.
