It’s nice to see spy shots surfacing as these snaps heighten anticipation for the cars. Take these recent spy shots of the upcoming hot hatch, the Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG, seen as it was testing very minimally shrouded.

The vehicle was running a few rounds of testing somewhere in Southern Germany, likely to check the overall performance of the car. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter engine, and it is said that Mercedes-Benz High Performace Engines helped in the development. According to the company, the A25 AMG will likely leapfrog the power numbers of the Audi RS3′s 2.0-liter engine that goes for 335 brake horsepower. It’s also expected to get a 7-speed gearbox that drives power to all the wheels and should feature a dual clutch.

While the silhouette is similar to that of the standard A-Class, one can really see where AMG tweaked stuff. The profile is more aggressive and you’ll find bigger intakes, upgraded brakes, and new exhaust tips to fit the higher performance level of the vehicle.

The official unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG is slated for this year’s Paris Motor Show, which kicks off Septermber 29.

2013 Mercedes-Benz Shooting Brake Spotted, Practically Unshrouded

shootingbrake spyshots001 597x395 2013 Mercedes Benz Shooting Brake Spotted, Practically Unshrouded

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake model has been spotted in the wild, practically without any camouflage to mask the car’s design from the public. It appears very much like the non-AMG version that was spotted a while back at the Nurburgring. Still, we all know that what’s most important about this variant is the 5.5L twin-turbo V8 engine beneath its hood.

With this surprise appearance of the upcoming CLS 63, people can expect only minor cosmetic revisions on the final model that reaches showrooms. It’s got the CLS line’s characteristic flair, with its wide wheel arches, quad exhausts, aggressive bumper design up front, and large alloy wheels.

The AMG-tuned version of the CLS carries only a single engine option, the aforementioned 5.5-liter V8, which is said to go for 518 horsepower and rear-wheel torque of around 516 lb.-ft. There’s an optional package that boosts these figures to 550 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2013 CLS Shooting Brake models should be in showrooms by the end of the year. By then, we’ll likely get word on yet another Shooting Brake model rumored to be in development—one that’s based on the smaller BLS coupe and is likely to slotted as a 2014 model.

For men out there who wants more “muscle” in their car, the Mercedes SLS Black Series may be what you are looking for. With its looks and power, it is no doubt meant for men.

At 660HP, according to rumors, the SLS will be ultra-fast. And with V12 Biturbo engine that might be installed on it, then it will be double the fun and speed. It is said to be the fastest Mercedes ever made, with or without the V12.

The car is expected to have a tag price of $500,000 though, so it might not be for everyone.

Spyshots of the Facelifted Mercedes E-Class

Mercedes Benz E Class facelift Spyshots of the Facelifted Mercedes E Class

It has been a long time since the three-star brand released the current version of E-Class. For three years, the company has not launched a new E-Class, so it is about time that they do.

Sorry to disappoint you though, Mercedes-Benz ain’t giving us a 2012 or 2013 E-Class, because all they are doing right now is some facelift.

The famous executive sedan was snapped during its winter testing with a heavily camouflaged front, which means that it will have a major lift. Some news says that the front fascia will be influenced by the Concept A-Class, which means you can expect it to have modified headlamps, airdam and LED strips. The rear looks like it is almost the same as the current E-Class.

Again, this is just a facelift, Mercedes-Benz already said that the new E-Class will not be launched until 2015.

2014 Mercedes C-Class Spied on its First Winter Testing

2014 Mercedes C Class Spied on its First Winter Testing2 597x401 2014 Mercedes C Class Spied on its First Winter Testing

This week, we have heard that the 2014 Mercedes C-Class was caught by the spy photographers. It was heavily camouflaged with black plastic, so the design of the car is really hard to figure out. But what you can see is a longer and wider C-Class that has head lights that look like the one found in the F800.

Meanwhile, the engine is now being debated on still. They say that it might have a 3 cylinder engine, but nothing is sure as of this moment. Perhaps, there will be something concrete late this year or early next year, as it is scheduled to be released in late 2013 or early 2014.
