Rosberg wins Japanese Grand Prix as Mercedes clinches constructors’ title

Nico Rosberg extended his lead in the standings as the Mercedes team clinched the 2016 F1 constructors’ championship at the Japanese Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, who seemed to be acting out in some of the official events during the weekend, finished third. Sandwiched between the Mercedes cars was the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. This is his third-straight runner-up finish. Rosberg was the frontrunner from the start and never looked back. Hamilton, meanwhile, had a bad start but fought back to claim a podium finish. A More Casual Mercedes-AMG E43 To Sell For $160,000

As Germany’s favorite business sedan, the Mercedes-AMG E43 finally seems to want to loosen its tie. It doesn’t have that formal physique of the E63, but it will fill that void between macho and rippled flagship and the E-Class. Mercedes isn’t using the E-Class platform for this. Rather, it wants the E43 to be a more comfortable and more subtle version of Australia’s favorite, the C63 S. According to reports, the E43 will arrive in December and will carry the price tag of $160,000. Mercedes-Benz presented a fleet of two-, three- and four-axle chassis, tractor units and tippers for the construction industry and ancillary trades at the 66th IAA International Motor Show. These models showed that Mercedes is ready to feature vehicles that are technically innovative and have advanced customer-oriented capacities.
