Mercedes-Benz Unimog Voted as the Best 2016 Cross-Country Vehicle

Rugged terrains, slippery paths, harsh weather, shallow river crossing and other extreme environmental conditions, it does not matter because the Mercedes-Benz Unimog can conquer them all. Recently, the Unimog was awarded the “Cross-Country Vehicle of the Year” under the “special-purpose” category by “Off Road” journal. According to Daimler, Off Road conducted a poll to determine the winner the best cross-country vehicle of the year. There were 12 categories that include the special purpose vehicles segment. Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe Gets 708 HP From RENNtech

Tuning experts at RENNtech recently revealed their work involving the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe. The company added more horsepower and torque to the powerful engine of the car. The S 63 Coupe already possesses a high output from its gasoline-powered 5.4-liter biturbo V8 engine. The output of the high-performance auto can reach up to 577 hp with 900 Nm of torque distributed through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7 Speed gearbox. The figures allow the car to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds while its top speed can reach up to 249 km/h. Daimler Spearheads Improvements in Mobile Connectivity

The future is here, and Daimler is leading the way towards a more connected and environment-conscious society. Jeremy Rifkin, author and futurologist, said at the Daimler Campus Connectivity event that the German company is putting in place information hubs across the country to help in collecting data.
