Leaked! The Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe

You guys have got to check out these leaked photos of the Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe. I bet if you liked the BMW concept car Ethan Hunt was driving around in Ghost Protocol, then you’re going to love this.

The snout of this baby is definitely and inarguably something borne from a vision of the future. Those pin-riddled grilles definitely provide enough air flow to the powerplant.

And check out those wheels. Even when standing still, the design makes them appear almost warped as if they’re spinning at top speed. Everything about the coupe’s design shouts sleek, giving us a clue as to where Mercedes-Benz is headed in terms of styling.

Another thing that really stands out on this concept is the interior. The green lines running through the panels and seats kind of remind me of Tron. Not to mention the AC vents glow with the same color as well. If that doesn’t strike a sense of the future, I don’t know what does.

Mercedes-Benz Furniture Collection

In partnership with Formitalia Luxury Group, Mercedes-Benz brings their high-quality design and styling to the living room. Mercedes-Benz Style made a furniture collection, chairs (MBS 003), chaise lounge (MBS 006), and dining room table (MBS 002), a shelf for a home theatre system (MBS 008), drawers (MBS007) and bed (MBS 004).

Dynamism and proportion are the main characteristics of the designs, which are inherent in all Mercedes-Benz cars. A bit futuristic, the furniture designs follows that of its car counterparts, nice form and lines that creates harmony.

Gorden Wagener the Head of Mercedes-Benz designs said, “The various pieces of furniture reflect the progressive, dynamic design idiom of our current show cars and concept vehicles, offering an exclusive, emotional experience outside our vehicles as well.”

If you want to see these unique and artistic furniture, they are shown in Milan at the “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” from April 17 to 22.

Mercedes G63 AMG Ad and Specs Information

This is a video of the Mercedes G63 AMG, inviting us to drive the new vehicle.

To give you an idea of how the car performs, you should know that the G63 delivers 544 HP and 760 Nm of torque. The acceleration is from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds and its maximum speed is at 130 mph or 210 km/h. Meanwhile, G65 AMG produces 612 HP and a torque of 1,000 Nm and accelerates at 5.3 seconds in 0 to 62mph. The top speed is at 143 mph, this is all because of the twin-turbo 6-liter engine that it is equipped with.

AMG and Ducati Partnership Ends

After Audi announced that they have acquired Ducati from Investindustrial Group, AMG also released a short statement that it has ended its “marketing cooperation” with the motorcycle brand. This is not surprising, since Audi is a competitor of Mercedes-Benz.

Some blogs speculated that Mercedes-Benz AMG bid to buy Ducati, however, the three-star brand cleared that it was never part of their plans, saying “Our focus lies clearly in developing and producing premium performance cars and we will be concentrating all our energy on this.”

Here’s AMG’s official and brief statement:

Since the end of 2010 a successful marketing cooperation has existed between AMG and Ducati. The company takeover by a rival car manufacturer has understandably resulted in the end of any further collaboration. The takeover of Ducati was never our aim – our focus lies clearly in developing and producing premium performance cars and we will be concentrating all our energy on this.

A Preview of the Concept Style Coupe or CSC

Everyone’s been waiting for what Mercedes-Benz will be showcasing at the Beijing Auto Show on April 23, 2012- May 2, 2012. But perhaps the most interesting is the Mercedes Concept Coupe Style or the CSC.

Avant-garde design for a sporty coupe – this is what you will see in the CSC. In these photos released by Mercedes, one can see a strikingly masculine vehicle. “The design of the Concept Coupé style is expressive and powerful,”says Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler and Head of Mercedes-Benz cars. He also added, “We are sending a clear exclamation mark. Sports cars in the middle class will continue to measure up in this car. “With a great headlamp design and nice looking lines and creases, this middle class practically looks like luxury sports vehicle. It uses the design language of the A-Class but with more elegance. It is also painted in Alubeam – a color which gives it a more distinct appeal.

Inside, the car looks very sporty. Carbon fiber trimmings and neon green accents and stitching are very attractive. The Alcantara leather in anthracite color contrasts with the white nubuck leather too. COMAND online will be present on the dash as well, this multi-media system gives the rider Internet access on-demand as well as great applications that helps in traveling and navigation.

Under the hood, the Concept Coupe Style’s performance is 211HP or 155 kW in a 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine. It will have a comfortable 4MATIC four-wheel drive too.
