Rapper Birdman Acquires $8 Million Maybach Exelero

Bryan Williams, a musician and record company owner more popularly known as Birdman is known for his collection of million-dollar automobiles. Among the vehicles in his prized collection are a $1.5 million Maybach Landaulet and a red Bugatti Veyron worth $2 million. Project Kahn creates Royal Wedding gift

Tuning company Project Kahn has come up with a wonderful idea to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William. They’ve decided to give the royal couple a tribute to their wedding in the form of an adrenaline pumping Maybach 57 limousine, tuned of course. As you can see in the images, the car has been fitted with a “4 HRH” license plate which is short for “For His Royal Highness”. Aston And Daimler Rumored To Have Finally Formed Cooperative Venture

Although being in the top levels of luxury car manufacturing is an exclusive and status-laden domain, it is not always as lucrative as the mother companies would like it to be. Daimler itself experienced this with its underperforming Maybach division, which it hoped to tap in battling Bentley and Rolls-Royce, whose ownership is in the hands of rivals Volkswagen and BMW. Daimler Announces Maybach 62 Guard Availability

It is practically a given that individuals who have the money and status to afford a Maybach need protection in today’s climate. Recognizing this need, Daimler has announced the Maybach 62 Guard, an armored version of the ultra-luxury Maybach sedan. Part of the company’s press release states, “Comfort, individualization, luxury and a very high level of safety. These requirements are satisfied to the letter on the Maybach Guard, the luxurious armoured limousine realized with integrated safety systems by the German engineers in Sindelfingen”. Maybach 57S Cruiserio Premieres At Geneva

In spite of Maybach’s sales performance, or maybe because of it, Daimler has seen fit to show the Xenatech Maybach 57S Cruiserio Coupe at Geneva, coinciding with the Auto Show there which opens this week. But a showroom floor is not a fitting place to showcase the ultra-luxury, -expensive and exclusive Maybach 57S. The ultra-luxury Maybach brand has been reintroduced to India by Mercedes-Benz in a nod to the growing number of rich people in the country. Customers will have a choice of two variants, namely the Maybach 57 S and the Maybach 62. Mercedes Benz first launched the Maybach brand in India in 2004 but the timing seemed premature. Maybachs On The Threshold As Daimler Debates Division’s Future

The future of the Maybach line is uncertain as Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche revealed at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show this week. Concerning Maybach, Zetsche has said that “Everything is on the table”. Daimler is looking at all options for the super-luxury Maybach division at a time when it has seen its business falter as a result of the economic crisis.
