New Mercedes Advertisement Mocks F1 Rule Changes

Despite the huge uproar of teams and fans alike over the implementation of the new F1 rules, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg seem to just have a good laugh about it. A recent Mercedes advertisement released a couple of hours ago in YouTube by Mercedes AMG Petronas shows its two drivers mock the new F1 regulations by playing dumb over it. Mercedes Team Says It’s Too Early To Call Them A “Favorite”

Despite a disappointing first day of testing at Jerez when Lewis Hamilton crashed his Mercedes W05 to the rubber barrier after a mechanical failure, Mercedes team rebounded by showing a strong performance in the following days of testing by completing a race distance in the track. The good showing of Mercedes was opposite to the fortune of Red Bull, which experienced cooling and power unit issues. This has led fans to root more for Mercedes at the pre-season testing. Hamilton Crashes Car at Jerez Testing

A while ago, we have reported that Mercedes just unveiled its car, the W05. Before that, everyone in the F1 community waited in anticipation to see how it would fare at the Jerez testing. Well, everything was going okay until a case of deja vu struck Lewis Hamilton. In the middle of the test, at around 1PM (local time), the Mercedes W05 suddenly suffered a front-wing failure which caused it to career out of the track and crash into the barriers. The Mercedes W05 is Finally Unveiled

The Mercedes W05, the Holy Grail of the Mercedes F1 team, has finally been unveiled. Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Toto Wolff, Paddy Lowe and the other key figures of the team were all there during the uncovering of the new Silver Arrow. Based on the pictures of the car which were released online, it seems to carry a striking resemblance with Ferrari’s car in the slope of the nose. Details about the Mercedes W05 have been heavily guarded. Up to now, we haven’t caught a glimpse yet of the new car of the Mercedes F1 Team as the launching of the car is reserved on the first day of testing at Jerez this Tuesday. A Quick Look at Mercedes’ F1 Steering Wheels

Despite driving the same car, the steering wheel of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg do not share the same features. One of the most noticeable differences between the two Mercedes F1 steering wheels is the handgrip. Hamilton’s steering wheel grip is smoother and it appears to be thicker as compared to Rosberg’s curvy grip. Then, the buttons are also visibly very distinct from each other. The color combinations in the Briton’s switches and buttons are obviously not the same with that of his German partner. Mercedes W05 Tested at Silverstone on Friday

The Formula 1 team of Mercedes-Benz announced last Friday that it just completed the initial testing of its new car, the W05. Based on the team’s statement with the press, the Mercedes W05 ran for about two hours during the afternoon of Friday at Silverstone. Before stopping as dusk came in, the car recorded a mileage of 40 kilometers. Nico Rosberg was the one who drove the Mercedes W05 during its initial run.
