Mercedes Dominates F1 Practice in Melbourne

Mercedes seems to be gearing for another impressive win in the upcoming Formula One Australian Grand Prix. In the most recent practice session, its drivers logged the fastest time on the track. Nico Rosberg led the practice with a time of one minute and 27.697 seconds. Lewis Hamilton, the defending F1 World Champion, came in next in just a split-second with a time of one minute and 27.797 seconds. Ferrari trailed behind Mercedes in the event. Lewis Hamilton Wants to Spend His Whole F1 Career with Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton indicated his intention to sign a new contract with his current team, Mercedes-AMG Petronas. He also said that he is looking to end his Formula One career with the group. Hamilton’s existing three-year contract with Mercedes is set to end this season. Talks for its renewal already started last year. The new safety and medical cars that will be used in the 2015 season of Formula One have just been unveiled. Of course, due to the reliability and performance of Mercedes-AMG cars, two of its popular models were once again chosen for the sport. First, the Mercedes-AMG GT S has been chosen as the Formula One safety car. The vehicle replaces the SLS AMG gullwing that has served in F1 for five years. F1 2015: Mercedes concludes Barcelona testing with mixed results

After four days of rigorous testing at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team was able to complete a total of 444 laps over the track, allowing drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to get some significant run in the new F1 W06 hybrid. Day four saw Rosberg post a second-best lap time of 1:24.321 and a total of a whopping 131 laps. The Mercedes W06 May Look the Same But Completely Different Within
