Mercedes-Benz Enters a New Battleground in the US EV Market

Mercedes-Benz is gearing to introduce its first mass-produced pure electric vehicle in the U.S. According to Forbes, the flagship luxury vehicle brand of Daimler is looking for an end of June or early July release of the EV in the American soil. The entry of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive in the region will pit it against the more established brands when it comes to EVs such as Tesla and Nissan. Introducing the New MEC Design Package for the Mercedes S500

MEC Design, one of the world’s popular aftermarket tuning specialists for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has recently revealed its new package for the S-Class, particularly the Mercedes S500. However, a recent investigation exposed some unruly practices of valets employed at several companies offering meet-and-greet services. According to a Mail Online report, an investigation conducted by a consumer watchdog called “Which?” revealed a number of bad practices employed by professional chauffeurs. Michael Schumacher is Now Out of Coma

Michael Schumacher, the seven-time Formula One World Champion, is now “out of coma” and has been transferred to another hospital for recovery. According to CNN, Schumacher will be transferred from the hospital in Grenoble, France, where was admitted last year following a near-death skiing accident, to a university health facility in Lausanne, Switzerland. Mercedes AMG GT Engine Specs Finally Confirmed

Finally, the specifications of the Mercedes AMG GT engine has been officially confirmed. According to Christian Enderle, the person in charge of the car’s engine development, the upcoming sports vehicle will carry a biturbo four-valve-per-cylinder 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine. A band of revs within 1750 and 4750 rpm in its initial state of tune will enable the car to reach an output 375 kW at 6250 rpm with 650 Nm of torque. The engine, codenamed M178, uses the all-new 90-degree quad-cam injection system.
