A limited number of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive was produced and seeing one in the flesh rarely happens. However, one was spotted recently as shown on by a report from autoevolution.com. The rare sighting was caught by Timo Nitsch, who immediately snapped a number of photos of the luxury vehicle. The photos were then sent to Gumbal. Prof. Thomas Weber, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development, hinted that their company is planning to make a fully-electric crossover SUV. Mercedes-Benz and Qualcomm Announce a New Technology Partnership

Mercedes-Benz and Qualcomm are currently enjoying a fruitful partnership in Formula One. The tech firm is serving as the developer of Mercedes-AMG Petronas’ advanced communications array. Recently, Daimler AG announced that it has entered into another technology partnership with the telecom firm. According to Evo, the new deal centers on the development of wireless charging units for Mercedes electric vehicles. Daimler Boss Says No One Will Make Money on Electric Cars Yet

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is now on sale, which received good reviews from critics. However, if money matters were to be considered, Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche does not seem to be so confident about electric cars as of the moment. Car2Go Goes to Brooklyn

Car2Go recently announced its expansion in Brooklyn. According to The Washington Post, the operation of Daimler AG’s carsharing service in the area will start on October 25 this year. Brooklyn is considered to be the most populous of New York City’s five boroughs. The population of the area is estimated at 2.6 million. It is also the second in terms of land area.
