If you want a spanking new Mercedes-Benz car model, you can have it for £2,000 less than the original price. That’s provided you also surrender your Euro 1 to 4 diesel cars, which you have owned for at least six months. The German automaker announced that the incentive will work when drivers want to get a new Euro 6 diesel, pure electric or plug-in hybrid. Bye Bye Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive

Mercedes-Benz USA confirmed that the production run of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is at its end. The units of the B-Class after the 2017 model year will no longer offer an electric powertrain. According to Automotive News, the announcement came from the spokesman of the company, Rob Moran. He said that the production of the affected model will halt in the third quarter of this year. Mercedes-Benz Reached Agreement With Chery Automobile Over Use Of EQ Brand

Mercedes-Benz has finally reached an agreement with Chinese company Chery Automobiles over the use of the EQ brand for its electric vehicles. The German automaker is now cleared to use EQ as a badge to their electric vehicles lineup. As reported earlier this year, Chery Automobiles filed a case before China’s trademark regulator because of Mercedes-Benz’s plan of using the EQ brand name. As reported previously, Mercedes-Benz is gearing to launch at least 10 electric vehicles (EV) by 2022. The units include sedans, SUVs, hatchbacks and commercial vehicles.
