A new kind of CSL — that is what you could expect from the upcoming Concept Style Coupe, pegged to hit distributors by next year. The four-door coupe, otherwise known as the CSC, will be carrying around 208 horses inside its 2-litre inline four turbocharged engine, more than enough power to please even the most adventurous Mercedes-Benz owner.

Daimler reports that the CSC will be produced at the Kecsemet facility in Hungary, and hints at the model having a variety of engines with power ranging from 108 to 208hp. If you weren’t able to catch a glimpse of the CSC at this year’s Beijing Motor Show, then the video below might help spark some love.

You’ll also find the gallery below to be pretty tasty, considering they’re just a bunch of artist renderings. Might help you visualize what it would feel like to actually own one of these once it hits US shores.

Mercedes Planning Two Hydrogen-Powered Cars

F125 597x397 Mercedes Planning Two Hydrogen Powered Cars

We all know that Mercedes-Benz has embraced the development of technology aimed at getting us mass-produced vehicles powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The company is on pace for a 2014 launch of the first model, but now it has been found that the German automaker won’t just be giving us a single unit—there’s a second model in the works.

According to Mercedes-Benz USA product planner Sascha Simon, that other model is set to be either an SUV or a larger sedan. In addition, the vehicles will be available first in California, before distribution spills to New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. All that is contingent on having a refueling network set up and ready to provide prospective owners with an accessible system for these new models.

This news follows on the heels of last year’s F125! Concept, the vehicle of the 620-mile driving range brought about by its hydrogen fuel-cell electric drive. Mercedes-Benz also took three of its B-Class F-Cell units on a journey around the world to build awareness for the technology and how Merc is already putting everything on road-ready cars.

There’s still a long way to go before hydrogen-powered vehicles become prevalent on the highways of the world. Merc is taking it one step at a time, cooperating with energy companies and government agencies to set up the necessary infrastructure that will support cleaner and greener transportation.

Leaked! The Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe

8 Leaked! The Mercedes Benz Concept Style Coupe

You guys have got to check out these leaked photos of the Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe. I bet if you liked the BMW concept car Ethan Hunt was driving around in Ghost Protocol, then you’re going to love this.

The snout of this baby is definitely and inarguably something borne from a vision of the future. Those pin-riddled grilles definitely provide enough air flow to the powerplant.

And check out those wheels. Even when standing still, the design makes them appear almost warped as if they’re spinning at top speed. Everything about the coupe’s design shouts sleek, giving us a clue as to where Mercedes-Benz is headed in terms of styling.

Another thing that really stands out on this concept is the interior. The green lines running through the panels and seats kind of remind me of Tron. Not to mention the AC vents glow with the same color as well. If that doesn’t strike a sense of the future, I don’t know what does.

Enjoy the gallery folks. There’s more to come so stick around.

Everyone’s been waiting for what Mercedes-Benz will be showcasing at the Beijing Auto Show on April 23, 2012- May 2, 2012. But perhaps the most interesting is the Mercedes Concept Coupe Style or the CSC.

Avant-garde design for a sporty coupe – this is what you will see in the CSC. In these photos released by Mercedes, one can see a strikingly masculine vehicle. “The design of the Concept Coupé style is expressive and powerful,”says Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler and Head of Mercedes-Benz cars. He also added, “We are sending a clear exclamation mark. Sports cars in the middle class will continue to measure up in this car. “With a great headlamp design and nice looking lines and creases, this middle class practically looks like luxury sports vehicle. It uses the design language of the A-Class but with more elegance. It is also painted in Alubeam – a color which gives it a more distinct appeal.

Inside, the car looks very sporty. Carbon fiber trimmings and neon green accents and stitching are very attractive. The Alcantara leather in anthracite color contrasts with the white nubuck leather too. COMAND online will be present on the dash as well, this multi-media system gives the rider Internet access on-demand as well as great applications that helps in traveling and navigation.

Under the hood, the Concept Coupe Style’s performance is 211HP or 155 kW in a 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine. It will have a comfortable 4MATIC four-wheel drive too.
