Official: Mercedes-Benz Pickup in the Works

Mercedes-Benz recently revealed its plan to develop a luxury pickup truck. The project was unveiled by Voker Mornhinweg in Germany through a life-size clay model, according to Wall Street Journal. Based on the report, the Mercedes-Benz pickup will have an estimated carrying capacity of 2,200 pounds. The power of the vehicle will be provided by a four- or six-cylinder engine. Looking at the picture, the design appeared to have some of the styling elements of the GLA-Class and the brand’s vans. Mercedes Alabama Plant Workers Have the Highest Pay in US

It really pays off working with Mercedes, in a literal sense. According to Reuters, citing a study conducted by the Center for Automotive Research, workers at the Mercedes Alabama plant have the highest hourly pay and benefits compared to other car factories in the US. On the other hand, the people in the rival luxury car makers of the brand, namely BMW and Volkswagen, are the least earners based on the same study. The findings showed that each worker at the Mercedes Alabama plant earn an average of $65 per hour. Mercedes-Benz S-Class is World Women’s Car of the Year

  Mercedes-Benz was truly one of the key attractions in the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It’s thanks to its Mercedes-Maybach Pullman, and other vehicles that debuted in the big auto event. The brand further gained attention when its flagship car, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, received an award in the show. New Mercedes Recall Affects 149,000 Cars in China and Germany

A new Mercedes recall was set in motion once more. Last Monday, Daimler released a statement about a new recall involving its Mercedes-Benz cars. According to the company, around 149,000 vehicles under the three-pointed star brand will be affected. Among the models covered by the decision were the E-Class and CLS-CLass built within 2012 up to 2014. Then, the areas affected are China and Germany.
