MEC Design Enhances Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG

MEC Design released an upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, according to a recent report from motorward.com. Although the enhancements made by the tuning specialist from Germany are considered light, it enhanced the appeal of the E63 in the market. The enhancements gave the redesigned executive-class sedan a sporty appearance due to its restyled exterior and new wheels. The tuning program provided by MEC Design concentrated on three major areas, wheels, suspension, and exhaust system. Prices Of Latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe For the US Market Released

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe is set to be launched by the German luxury vehicle manufacturer in the US market by the middle of October, according to a report from carscoops.com. The prices of the different models of the S-Class Coupe were also revealed. The entry-level model of the S-Class or the S550 4Matic Coupe is priced at $119,900. This model features a 4.7-liter twin turbo V8 engine offering 455 HP of power and torque of 516 lb-ft. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph within 4.6 seconds. EPA Tells Mercedes-Benz to Revise Gas Mileage Rates

Mercedes-Benz was the latest target of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). According to USA Today, EPA claimed the gas estimates in miles per gallon (MPG) of the three-pointed star marque in some of its models were inaccurate. The agency asked the luxury automaker to downgrade the numbers. The models, which caught the attention of the regulator, were the 2013 and 2014 versions of the Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC. The regulating body revised the flexible fuel version and PZEV low-emission figures of the said models. Mercedes-Benz to ramp up activities on autonomous vehicle research and testing

Since September, Mercedes-Benz has been conducting tests on autonomously driving (self-driving) vehicles in California’s public roads. Now, the company is set to expand on its research activities and get more testing done, thanks to the ability to use the Concord Naval Weapons Station (CNWS) test bed site, which is the largest in the United States. The newest Mercedes-Benz brand ambassador isn’t a race car driver or a movie star; instead, it’s Ryan Tedder, frontman for the American pop rock band OneRepublic. This partnership will be highlighted by the world premiere of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class on the first of October, at the Mondial de l’Automobile motor show in Paris. Mercedes-Benz Kecskemét Plant reaches 250,000-unit production milestone

It seems like only yesterday that the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét, Hungary opened. In fact, it was actually two and a half years ago, and now, the production facility is celebrating another milestone as it rolls off its 250,000th Mercedes-Benz unit: a CLA 45 AMG in polar silver trim that’s headed straight for Japan.
