Citaro hybrid buses prove their worth in Stuttgart

Three Mercedes-Benz Citaro G BlueTec Hybrid buses, with two more on their way at a later date, have been commissioned by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB) after successfully passing practical service trials as far back as December of last year. The Citaro earned a lot of good remarks from passengers that happened to stumble upon the three hybrids being tested for one whole week. Along the inner-city 42 route, the Citaro was able to demonstrate exceptional fuel economy, despite the infamous routes tricky topographic layout. Fast Forward to Tomorrow campaign kicks off

Mercedes-Benz launches yet another company, this time focusing on the company’s achievements in its bid for zero emissions. Running under the slogan “Fast forward to tomorrow”, the company seeks to show through all media channels—TV, online specials and ads—how far they’ve come in achieving their goals. Singapore gets a load of natural gas powered Econic trucks

When it comes to caring for the environment, Mercedes-Benz never lets itself be left behind. And thus it recently began testing of its latest Econic trucks with natural gas technology in Singapore. The country’s biggest waste management company, Sembcorp, has signed up to conduct the testing with the goal of determining the realistic benefits of the Econic. It’s being graded based on its cost effectiveness and ability to satisfy customers. Daimler presented to the public the details of their newest offer to the S-Klasse range, which is the Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse S 350 BlueTEC. The German company labels the model as the most economic and safest S-Klasse ever.
