Denza EV Pictures Without Camouflage Revealed

What do you get when the producer of the world’s most luxurious cars and one of the fastest growing low cost manufacturer of automobile crosses? The resulting offspring would be the Denza EV. According to ChinaCarTimes the Denza EV is the result of Daimler and BYD’s plan to create another brand of luxury electric cars that would cater to the Chinese market and to the international market later on. Mercedes Downplays Its Chances At The Chinese Grand Prix

Despite their win at the Chinese Grand Prix last year, Mercedes head Toto Wolff is playing down its chances of retaining the title as the season starts. Last year was the first win of the team since it returned to Formula 1 racing behind the commanding victory of Nico Rosberg in Shanghai. Although the team is supposedly second only to Red Bull according to Lewis Hamilton, Wolf is trying to be more realistic about the team’s chances this year. China Division Of Mercedes-Benz Investigated For Asphalt Use On Vehicles

The China division of Mercedes-Benz is being investigated along with two other auto manufacturers by the Administrative Center for Defective Products of China or the DPAC since it supposedly used asphalt on vehicles as sound deadeners. The two other automobile manufacturers whose China divisions were also investigated were Audi and BMW. The report indicated that some models of the vehicles produced by Beijing-Benz, FAW-Volkswagen and Brilliance-BMW supposedly used asphalt on their damping plates. The damping plates of the vehicles are used to absorb noise and vibration. It is also used as waterproofing for the vehicles. Daimler and Beijing Automotive Take Action to Strengthen Position in the Market

December 18 marked the integration of Mercedes-Benz Service Co. in Beijing. It was a joint venture of Daimler and Beijing Automotive. The partnership aims to focus on improving sales of both imported and locally-made Mercedes-Benz cars in the region. The China-based partner also united the major dealers in the country to further boost its performance in the market. Mercedes-Benz Milestones in 2012: A Year-End Recap

As the end of year 2012 comes close, Daimler published its annual milestones. China Will Export the Mercedes E-Class

The sales of the joint venture partner of Mercedes-Benz in China is whopping. Since the start of the year, the company has seen a 52% rise in the Chinese market, but it’s now going steady. A report from Gasgoo says that the Chinese branch is trying to breakthrough the overseas market. In an attempt to do that, they are now exporting the Wheelbase E-Class. The car has been very popular and the management of BAIC says they know that this step may help them increase their 2012 sales. If this become successful the GLK and C-Class may also be exported. China-Made GLK to be Produced on Monday

After Daimler and BAIC’s agreement to expand their partnership in China with more projects, Mercedes- Benz announced that the first China-made GLK SUV will be rolled off in the Beijing Plant on Monday.
