GLK Started Production in Bremen

The GLK was one of the most anticipated Mercedes-Benz models since it was launched at the New York International Auto Show last April. Because of its great interior and new equipment options, car enthusiasts became excited over the compact SUV. Introducing the Mercedes-Benz GLA

Mercedes-Benz is developing a new crossover based on the A-Class platform, and word around cyberspace is that this new model will be named the GLA. Sources have pegged the GLA to be of the same size as the B-Class and should feature Mercedes-Benz’s MFA front-wheel drive platform. More diesel engine options for future models

Would you mind switching to diesel? Apparently, luxury car companies don’t mind at all, especially with the big names such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz. BMW’s new 3-Series models are now running on diesel, while Mercedes-Benz’s C250 cars now running with an 1800cc turbocharged 4-cylinder under their hoods. Another model which will soon be sporting a diesel powerplant is the 2013 GLK. Potential owners will have the option to drive with a 2.1-liter turbodiesel engine for the GLK. The previous Mercedes GLK was not a good-looking car, we have to admit it. But after the update or facelift, the GLK is now a beauty — jaw dropping in fact. LED lights, new headlights and alloy wheels, every detail made the car more mascular. The Updated Mercedes GLK Officially Presented

There had been lots of spy photos of the Mercedes GLK in the past. Now, the blogging world is ready to share the full details of the car’s update. The changes are not really major, nor subtle. For example, the exterior got a new front fascia, unique tail lights, redesigned highlights with LED and a dual exhaust system located in the lower rear fascia. Meanwhile, the dash has aluminum or optional wood trimming. A new infotainment system can also be found inside, as well as new TFT display, seats and three spoke steering wheel. GLK Diesel To Be Made Available In The U.S.

Acknowledging that diesels are making inroads in terms of acceptability in one of the world’s largest markets, Mercedes-Benz of North America is planning to introduce a diesel GLK, concurrent with its plans to also introduce a diesel-powered C-Class. Today’s crop of diesel engines are far removed from their predecessors, which deserved their reputation as oil burners with their unmistakable clatter. China-Made GLK to be Produced on Monday

After Daimler and BAIC’s agreement to expand their partnership in China with more projects, Mercedes- Benz announced that the first China-made GLK SUV will be rolled off in the Beijing Plant on Monday.
