All signs that Mercedes-Benz was planning to add the 2016 Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² in its G-Class lineup were laid after it was unveiled to the public. Moments ago, the brand officially confirmed what we have all expected. The vehicle will be included in the three-pointed star’s regular production. Amid the confirmation, the cost of the unit might be hard for most people to come by. According to Carscoops, the G-Class variant has a price tag of €226,100 in Germany. The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² possesses the M178 engine powering the Mercedes-AMG GT. This gives the SUV an output of 416 hp with 450 lb-ft of torque. The power is distributed through all four wheels of the vehicle via a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox with a manual shifting mode. These factors allow the big Mercedes to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 5.7 seconds. One impressive Mercedes G55 AMG was recently spotted in China. This particular G-Class featured major modifications in its body plus engine upgrades, and it was rechristened as the Brabus G-K8. According to CarNewsChina, the Brabus G-K8 was introduced at the FB-Show 2015 held in Beijing.
