NHTSA Launches A Probe To Look Into 250,000 Complaints From E-Class Owners

Yesterday, various news sources like the NBC, GlobalPost, CBS and USNews revealed that around 250,000 Mercedes-Benz owners in the U.S. have reported fuel leaks from their cars. The cars which were included in the report belong in the 2003 up to 2008 E-Class models of the brand. Based on the reports, E-Class Mercedes-Benz owners have complained to the company and to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that their car reeks of gasoline just after refueling. A Look At The V8 Supercar In Action

After the unveiling of the new V8 Supercar of Erebus Motorsport here is a look at how it actually performed during its unveiling and pre-season test. According to Autoblog, the AMG race car is the first of its kind to be built outside of Germany. Its 5.0-liter engine came from Germany though. It was provided by HWA which is the racing arm of AMG. Various news sources recently revealed the new Mercedes-Benz E63 that will be competing in Australia’s 2013 Supercars Series. The car is the entry of the Erebus Racing team in the sporting event. It will be driven by Tim Slade who came up fifth in the overall rankings of the 2012 season along with Lee Holdsworth and Maro Engel. Mercedes-Benz E550 May Be Replaced By E400 Model

Small turbo-charged engines are gradually receiving wide acceptance in the auto industry, and it appears that Mercedes-Benz is set to join the trend. The luxury car manufacturer is reportedly replacing the E550 model with an E400 model that will feature a twin-turbo-charged V6 engine.
