Last November, international singing sensations Katy Perry and John Mayer were seen together on a romantic tour in Santa Barbara, the hometown of the female singer. They were spotted strolling down the two-century old church of Old Mission. But as a Mercedes-Benz fan, what got us more star-struck was the car they entered into after getting some cold beverages. Piecha Design Tunes the Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The German aftermarket specialist Piecha Design is celebrating its 30th year in the industry. In line with that, they chose the luxury car Mercedes-Benz E-Class as their new tuning project. The two kinds of E-Class, the Coupe and Cabriolet now has 8.5×19 inch rims in front and 9.5x 19 inch at the back. The tires wrapping the rim are 225/35 front and 255/30 on the rear. Brabus Outs the 800HP E V12 Cabriolet

Super tuner Brabus has outed its latest project, which it claims to be the fastest 4-seat cabriolet at the moment: the Brabus E V12 Cabriolet that’s based on the E-Class cabriolet. As you can guess by its name, the tuner has outfitted the car with its own Brabus 800 V12 twin-turbo 12-cylinder engine to produce an astounding 800 horsepower with 1,047 lb.-ft. of torque that’s electronically limited to 811 lb.-ft. The V12 engine is connected to a 5-speed automatic tranny and comes with a high-performance exhaust system that features stainless steel construction and four tailpipes. Asian tuner entrant Revozport has set its sights on the E-Class Mercedes with a body modification kit made from carbon fiber. This kit was designed for the W207 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet. New Piecha Kit for E-Class Cabrio

German tuners are pretty active this days. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class cabrio variant has received a new treatment from Piecha, who have just released a new aerodynamic body kit package that should make the E-Class convertible look sleeker and sportier—not that the default version was lacking in sportiness, of course.
