April Sales Of Mercedes-Benz Vehicles Reach Record Highs

Vehicle deliveries of Mercedes-Benz for April reached 116,566 units, which is 11.7 percent higher than the same month last year. Total sales have reached 441,464 units since the start of the year as the luxury car manufacturer has increased its acceptance in Russia, Asia and the NAFTA region. European sales have increased by double-digits as the company led a number of markets around the world. According to Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales and Marketing Executive Vice President Dr. Joachim Schmidt, the sales trend of the company remained positive as it increased its share of a number of international markets. Body Kit Upgrade For Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon Unveiled

An aftermarket kit was released recently by Brabus and KTW Tuning for the 2010 model of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon. A number of exterior enhancements were given to the vehicle to make it appear more aggressive. These enhancements include a sporty-looking grille, new front skirt, enhanced fender, sill trims and a number of emblems. Brabus door sills were also added into the E-Class Wagon along with set-door-lock pins and aluminum pedal pads. The E350 CDI variant was also given a power boost using the ECO PowerXtra D65 kit from Brabus. This enhanced the 3.0-liter 228bhp (170kW) engine to allow it to deliver up to 308bhp (230kW) of power. Mercedes-Benz customers who tick the P50 option when ordering their A207 E-Class Cabriolets will be getting the AIRSCARF and AIRCAP systems to better enjoy their open-air motoring. These options were developed to enable cabriolet owners to maximize their chances of opening up their convertibles even in less than perfect weather. Developed in the wind tunnel, the AIRCAP system directs airflow over the car via a deflector integrated into the roof frame. Its effect is to reduce drafts and wind turbulence significantly, even in the rear passenger area.
