The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate was upgraded recently by Loewenstein Manufaktur at the Essen Motor Show 2013, according to a report from gtspirit.com. The tuning company based in Germany provided the luxury vehicle a Loewenstein LM63-700 Compressor kit, which is a compressor system designed to enhance performance. The compressor kit is designed to work like an electronic air pressure control system. The vehicle was also provided with a stainless steel exhaust system featuring exhaust manifold with catalytic convertor pipes, performance module, and carbon fiber air induction system from Loewenstein. Safety regulators in the United States of America are currently conducting an investigation with Mercedes-Benz C-Class cars. According to news sources like ABC News, News.com.au and Miami Herald, the company’s C-Class cars are being investigated for tail light problems. The investigation regarding the Mercedes tail light problems covers around 253,000 cars of the brand. Year 2008 up to 2011 C-Class models are the subjects of the probe. A new wave of engines is set to be released together with the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class after its launch in the UK by next spring, a recent report from autocar.com revealed. The new engines will include a new 4.0-liter V8 turbo-charged engine for the C63 AMG that offers up to 493bhp. The first set of engines in the new C-Class will include a 1.6-liter for the C180 with 154bhp, 2.0-liter for the C200 with 181bhp and 2.1-liter turbo-diesel for the C220 Bluetec with 168bhp. A long-wheelbase model will be developed by Mercedes-Benz for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan for the Chinese market, according to a recent report on Reuters.
