Mercedes-Benz B180 Northern Lights Black Limited Launched In Japanese Market

A limited edition vehicle was launched by Mercedes-Benz into the Japanese market as a follow up to the Mercedes-Benz Night Edition that was released near the start of the year. The latest limited edition being offered by the luxury vehicle manufacturer is the Mercedes-Benz B180 Northern Lights Black Edition. Only two hundred fifty units will be manufactured for this limited edition compact MPV. It will feature a distinctive purple exterior paint, LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights, folding mirrors, and headlight washer. New Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, CLA-Class Models Available

Mercedes-Benz has just launched a whole bunch of new models for the A-Class, B-Class, and CLA-Class. There are some  new efficient entry-level options as well as a line-topping CLA 45 AMG Edition 1. There are new base diesel variants for the A- and B-Classes. You have the A 160 CDI that comes in at 90hp with a price tag of 25,882.50 euros (around $33,800) and the B 160 CDI with the same engine at 27,310.50 euros (around $35,700). Mercedes-Benz Maintains Momentum in May

Mercedes-Benz continued the trend of growth during the month of May 2013, selling a total of 121,360 units last month that accounts for a 7.3% increase year-over-year. In addition, the automaker also posted a record 562,824 units sold in the year to date, a 5.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Strong performance in the NAFTA region as well as in Europe and Asia are considered the biggest drivers in this growth, and the compact cars and SUV models are the primary breadwinners for the Stuttgart-based company. New A-Class and B-Class to be Launched in India this May 30

  With the sales of Mercedes-Benz India looking great, the brand is releasing two variants in the territory on May 30. The new car will be under the A-Class and B-Class category. Based on a report by the Indian auto news site called Car Dekho, buyers of the new A-Class premium hatchback will have two engine options to choose from. One will have a 1.6-liter petrol and the other will be equipped with a 1.8-liter turbo diesel engine. Then, it will have a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the new B-Class will only be available in a 1.8-liter turbo diesel engine.

Tesla Supplies Motor for US-bound B-Class Electric Drive

Mercedes-Benz has enlisted the aid of Tesla Motors, the electric car and electric powertrain designer and manufacturer based in Silicon Valley, to provide the 135-horsepower electric motor of the all-new Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive, which was announced at the New York Auto Show this past week. The car is expected to be out on the US market sometime in early 2014.
