Upgrade Kits Offered For The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG will have a new upgrade kit courtesy of Mcchip-DKR, according to the worldcarfans.com. The upgrade kit was developed by the engineers of the Germany-based tuner that will enhance the performance of the vehicle from the luxury car manufacturer. The aftermarket product of the company is focused on the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo-charged engine of the vehicle. The typical configuration of the engine offers 360HP (265kW) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft.) The stage 1 kit from mcchip-dkr increases this output to 400HP (390kW). More EU Nations Could Block Mercedes-Benz Car Sales

France is only the beginning. With more EU governments deciding to take action against Daimler over the use of coolant in certain new Mercedes-Benz models, the German automaker could have a hard time sticking to its preferred automotive coolant. Some new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, and SL-Class models have been denied registration by France as Daimler continues to use R134a, the coolant banned by the EU starting  2013. R134a has been classified as a global warming agent and is said to be a thousand times more powerful than carbon dioxide. Inden Design and Binz Sport Work on Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Binz Sport and Inden Design have worked together on a couple of modified Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W 176) units, with the custom cars set to be shown in Hattingen at an upcoming Mercedes-Benz meet. The A-Class models in question have been given some ‘small but effective’ design modifications. There’s a carbon-fiber front spoiler lip, carbon side sills, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser with cutouts for the quad exhausts that are the same as the ones on the C 63 AMG Black Series. Mercedes-Benz has just launched a whole bunch of new models for the A-Class, B-Class, and CLA-Class. There are some  new efficient entry-level options as well as a line-topping CLA 45 AMG Edition 1. There are new base diesel variants for the A- and B-Classes. You have the A 160 CDI that comes in at 90hp with a price tag of 25,882.50 euros (around $33,800) and the B 160 CDI with the same engine at 27,310.50 euros (around $35,700). Lewis Hamilton Takes The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Out For A Spin

Mercedes-Benz recently requested Lewis Hamilton to test drive the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. A video of the test drive of the Mercedes-AMG Formula One team driver was released recently by the luxury vehicle manufacturer. The video shows Hamilton testing the turbocharged engine of the A45 AMG on both dry and wet road conditions. Mercedes-Benz Receives Awards At The Fleet World Honours

Significant changes implemented by Mercedes-Benz resulted to its receiving the Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer Award during the 2013 Fleet World Honours. Some of the changes the company implemented were the creation of a Strategic Account Manager team and the Small Business Partnership plan. The company also introduced the Direct Sales Programme and the Chauffeur Programm. The retailer training and development of the company was also accredited by the IMI.
