Rosberg wins 2015 Spanish GP at head of Mercedes one-two

Nico Rosberg finally got the kind of start that he wanted and rode it all the way to victory at the 2015 Spanish Grand Prix, where the Mercedes driver helped lead his team to another one-two finish, but this time, the German driver managed to get ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton. Daimler achieves record sales in Q1 2015

Daimler AG continues to roll, having achieved record sales, revenue, and EBIT during the first quarter of 2015, propelled of course by Mercedes-Benz Cars. This is thanks in large part to unit sales growing by 13 percent compared to the same period in 2014, contributing to a 16 percent growth in revenue to some €34 billion (around $37 billion). Mercedes-Benz Cars unit sales in Q1 grew 18 percent, with a nice round total of 459,700. In terms of unit sales, Q1 2015 now holds the record for best quarter in Mercedes history. F1: Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton wins Bahrain Grand Prix; Rosberg takes third place

Lewis Hamilton continues to dominate the 2015 Formula One season, taking his third race win in the first four races after cruising to victory at the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix. Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg was on pace to give the team a one-two finish, but lost P2 with one lap to go after a mistake that led to Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen taking second place. F1: Lewis Hamilton takes pole in Bahrain; Ferrari strong in qualifying

At the qualifying session for the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was able to achieve another pole position while fending off the Ferrari drivers as well as his own Mercedes teammate. Hamilton posted 1:32.571 in Q3 to beat out Sebastian Vettel, who had a time of 1:32.982 for P2. Hamilton’s teammate Nico Rosberg (Q3 1:33.129) will start in the second row at P3 ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen (1:33.227). The third row is all Williams, with Valtteri Bottas in P5 and Felipe Massa in P6. Lewis Hamilton did not waste any time trying to get back into the saddle after missing his chance at the last race. The defending F1 champ took pole position after a solid, tight qualifying run at the 2015 Chinese Grand Prix, while teammate Nico Rosberg took P2 for another Mercedes front-row start. March 2015 is best sales month in Mercedes-Benz history

Mercedes-Benz continues to enjoy massive success in the market, as the company posted its strongest monthly sales performance this past March with a total of 183,467 vehicles delivered to customers within the month. That figure represents a 15.7 percent increase from the same period last year, and it also contributed to the strongest quarter in the company’s history.
