Aston May Need More Than Just AMG Engines

It may be possible that future Aston Martins will have more than just the AMG engines and may include the electronic architecture of Mercedes-Benz. This followed the report on the investment made by Investindustrial into the British sports car manufacturer. After selling Ducati to Audi, the private equity firm bought a 37.5 percent stake in Aston. Although Investindustrial have a close relationship with AMG and Mercedes, it remains unconfirmed if the German car manufacturer is included in the deal with Aston. Explained: The Self-Directed System On The 2014 S-Class [Video]

  Mercedes-Benz has always put a premium on safety for its products and the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S Class is no exception as the company has made it the first vehicle to provide a self-directed system that allows it to maneuver itself. A series of videos were posted recently that explained this self-directed system of the S Class. The vehicle features a number of integrated sensors monitors road markings and traffic up to a distance of over 650 feet. Unique Retro-Design Mercedes-Benz Touring Coaches Acquired By Rosi Reisen

To commemorate its fortieth anniversary, Rosi Resien acquired a distinctive fleet of Mercedes Benz touring coaches. These unique touring coaches feature a unique retro-design based on the first set of vehicles that the company used in the 1980’s. On December 14, the Marketing, Sales and After-Sales head of Daimler Buses, Till Oberwörder, turned over the last set of touring coaches to Rosi Reisen Company Director Johannes-Gerd Overhoff Junior. This last set of touring coaches consisted of two Travengos and ten Tourismos. Four-Wheel Drive Model Coming To Mercedes CLA

It appears that the upcoming Mercedes Benz CLA will not be limited to a four-door compact coupe since it may be offered in a four-wheel drive model. The upcoming entry-level coupe will use the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system of Mercedes when it will enter the market next year. The system was specifically developed by Mercedes for use on front-wheel drive vehicles that feature a traverse engine design, which is supposedly lighter compared to similar offerings of its competitors. The system will also enhance the fuel efficiency of four-wheel drive model of the Mercedes CLA.
