Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe

Daimler just announced last week that the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is already available for order. According to the company, the pricing of the compact sport utility vehicle starts at 49,444.50 euros. The most affordable model in the range is the Mercedes-Benz GLC 250 4MATIC Coupe.

The GLC Coupe is currently available in three models. Aside from the GLC 250 4MATIC Coupe, it is offered in diesel-powered units, namely the GLC 220 d 4MATIC Coupe and GLC 250 d 4MATIC Coupe variants. The diesel models each costs 49,980 euros and 51,289 euros, respectively. The mentioned SUVs will have their Edition 1 versions.

The said models will be launched beginning in the autumn of this year. The pricing for the other version of the GLC like the GLC 200 d Coupe, GLC 350 d 4MATIC Coupe, GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe, GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupe, and the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe will be released sometime in the end of 2016.

The GLC Coupe has a range of outputs to choose from. The lowest is 136 hp while the highest is 367 hp coming from the V6 engine of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe.

The standard equipment available for the SUV are 18-inch light-alloy wheels, chrome tailpipes, EASY-PACK tailgate, KEYLESS-GO, reversing camera, Audio 20 CD entertainment system, and upholstery covered in ARTICO man-made leather. Among the technology offered by the SUV are the assistance systems like COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, Crosswind Assist, Headlamp Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST or ESP with Dynamic Cornering Assist, DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL and the AIR BODY CONTROL.

The addition of a reversing camera is very useful indeed. The GLC is a big car and having that extra help when driving through the city or pulling into a tight supermarket car park makes life much easier.

There are also the usual optional packages for the GLC Coupe like the AMG Line interior and exterior kit, Night package, EXCLUSIVE and Designo interior. The wheels could be replaced as well by 19- or 20-inch rims.
