The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is the latest addition in the crossover SUV segment of the three-pointed star brand.

Mercedes-Benz just showcased what it calls its “Dream Cars” right in the City of Dreams at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. The event marks the third appearance of the brand’s fleet of dream cars, which started in Detroit and Geneva earlier this year.

This time, the lineup is joined by models that are making their world premieres. The main attraction this time is the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, which was shown in Beijing last year in its concept form. Then the rest are the new additions to the Mercedes-AMG variants such as the E 43 4MATIC, C 63 Cabriolet, GLC 43 4MATIC, and the CLA 45 4MATIC that recently underwent a facelift.

The GLC Coupe is offered in eight engine trims. It has four diesel and petrol units, including the plug-in hybrid and AMG models. The models of the range that will arrive in autumn are the GLC 220 d with 170 hp, GLC 250 d with 204 hp, and the GLC 250 4MATIC with 211 hp. The rest, including the hybrid and AMG versions, will follow at the end of the year.

For the Mercedes-AMG E 43 4MATIC, it has 401 hp in its V6 engine. Next, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC packs 367 hp in its V6 power unit. This one will hit showrooms by June 2016 according to the source.

Lastly, the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet carries 476 hp in its V8 engine. The C 63 S Cabrio version has the same engine but it is configured to deliver up to 510 hp. The car will arrive in showrooms in August 2016.
