Realistic Rendering Of 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 Revealed

Remco Meulendijk recently made his own interpretation of the 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63, as indicated through an autoevolution.com report.

The 2017 E-Class was unveiled by the Stuttgart-based company during the North American International Auto Show, which was held in Detroit. However, the mid-sized sedan was yet to be revealed by the German luxury vehicle manufacturer. After the E-Class was seen at all angles, industry watchers already have an idea on how the AMG version will look like.

The AMG version is expected to be similar to the standard model with a radiator grille featuring one double-bladed horizontal stripe along with a front bumper featuring a set of large-sized air vents. The wheels of the standard model were also replaced with 21-inch alloy wheels while the rear features two double exhaust systems along with a huge air diffuser and a distinctive lip spoiler.

Apparently, Meulendijk had the same idea when he created the rendering of the still-to-be-launched Mercedes-AMG E63. The images provided reflect this general idea of the upcoming AMG version of the E63. All the prerequisites mentioned above for the AMG model are reflected on the version of Meulendijk. The only missing component is a different design of the hood that the upcoming version will feature.

One important thing that is not shown in the rendering is the engine. The 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 will feature a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is similar to the one used on the C63 and GT, but not featured on the Mercedes-AMG SLC43. While the upcoming E63 has a similar engine, the unit used on the AMG model of the E-Class will offer a power output of around 600HP, which is significantly higher than the 510HP power output of the C63 and GT S.

While the AMG model will feature the seven-speed automatic transmission system when it will be launched, it is expected to be given the 9G TRONIC nine-speed version shortly it becomes available in the market. Despite this, it is expected for fans of the German luxury vehicle manufacturer to purchase the Mercedes-AMG E63 the moment it goes on sale.
