Brabus is considered as one of the best tuning company for the products of Mercedes-Benz and industry watchers always keep an eye out for any new products of the German company. The latest tuning project of Brabus, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 S, is somewhat reserved, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com.

The power of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine of the AMG C63 S was increased to 600 HP using the PowerXtra B40-600 tuning package. While this new engine performance tuning package is available for the sedan and estate variants of the AMG C63 S, it remains uncertain if it will be offered for the recently-released Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe.

The PowerXtra B40-600 tuning package gives the AMG C63 S sedan the capability of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h or 0 to 62 mph within 3.8 seconds before reaching its 300 km/h or 186 mph top speed.

Since Brabus is well-known for producing impressive-looking tuned vehicles, it did not limit its enhancement to the engine of the AMG C63 S. While the modifications made on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S were not particularly stunning, it was suitable enough to give the luxury vehicle a notable appearance.

Clear-coated carbon fiber components featuring a matte finish was used on the body kit for the AMG C63 S. A new splitter, rear diffuser, side intake air surrounds and rear lip spoiler were added by the tuning specialist on the luxury vehicle. A stainless steel exhaust system was also installed by Brabus. The exhaust system features a controlled butterfly valve to facilitate sound management using a switch located inside. These components were installed to minimize aerodynamic lift by developing them inside a wind tunnel.

Completing its exterior is a set of 20-inch monobloc alloys from Brabus featuring carbon-fiber inlays on every spoke. Customers have the option of using Pirelli, Yokohama or Continental tires measuring 255/30 R20 in front and 275/30 R20 at the back.

The interior of the Brabus-tuned Mercedes-AMG C63 S was also enhanced by offering leather options along with alcantara, carbon fiber and wood accents for customers.
