Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Tuned By G-Power

The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG has gone through numerous enhancements in the past, and continues to be improved by different tuning specialists. The latest tuner to enhance the S63 AMG sedan is G-Power, as shown on a report from worldcarfans.com.

While the German tuning specialist typically works on BMW, and has produced on a good number of upgrade packages for the luxury vehicles of the company based in Munich, it has now tried its hand on Mercedes-Benz. G-Power selected the S63 sedan as its subject. The 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the luxury sedan is capable of producing 585 HP of power and a torque of 900 Nm.

But, after G-Power provided the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG with its Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power modules, the power and torque were increased to 705 HP and 1,000 Nm, respectively. Due to this, the S63 AMG is now capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h or 0 to 62 mph within 3.8 seconds when an all-wheel drive system is installed. It is also capable of reaching speeds of up to 330 km/h or 205 mph.

Similar to other power modules of G-Power, it goes offline when it notes that the water or oil temperature has gone beyond factory-recommended figures. In addition to enhancing the engine, G-Power also offers to install HURRICANE RR forged alloy wheels measuring 21×9 inches in front and 21×12.5 at the back. The alloy wheels for the G-Power-tuned Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG have a Jet Black diamond cut finish and uses aircraft grade aluminum.
