Check Out This Restored Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda

Collectors of classic luxury vehicles may have to go to Brabus Classic if they want to acquire the best Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda units available in the market. The latest work of the company is a 1969 Pagoda that was restored to an original as new condition, as shown on a report from motorward.com.

The paint job on this particular model is quite rare, which contributed to its rather steep but reasonable price tag of 269,000 EUR or around $300,000. The 2.8-liter engine of the Pagoda was given a complete overhaul by Brabus Classic, which is typical of the German company. Due to this, they normally sell restored models as brand-new cars with zero mileage.

The straight-six engine of the 1969 Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda is capable of producing 170 HP of power and it is mated with a four-speed manual gearbox, which comes with an enhanced running gear.

Since the Pagoda went through a thorough restoration process, every component of this classic is as good as the day it left the assembly line. It features a new soft top while its leather upholstery is perfect. The engine bay does not have a speck of dirt or grime on it. Since Brabus wanted to retain the originality of this classic luxury vehicle, it did not make any changes on any of its amenities.

A photo album accompanies all Brabus Classic models showing the restoration process, including this particular 1969 Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda.
