The specialists at ShifTech recently introduced some changes in the engine configuration of the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe. Based on the photos provided by the tuner on its Facebook page, the car was given an output totaling up to 655 hp and 1,115 Nm of torque. That’s 70 hp and 215 Nm more than the original engine specifications of the coupe from the Mercedes-AMG factory. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class was recently spotted sporting a 3D mapping device on its roof. According to Jalopnik, the gizmo is a LIDAR array. Based on the website of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), LIDAR stands for Light Detection and Ranging. The device consists of a laser, scanner and GPS receiver. It functions by releasing light in a form of a pulsing laser to measure the source’s distances from objects.
