Spy shot of the next version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The next-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class was spied again. This time, the car was seen cruising around the roads of the Czech Republic. The photos were supplied by a guy named Kirill, according to Carscoops.

The spy shots do not reveal anything that we haven’t seen or knew yet about the upcoming E-Class though. The car remained heavily camouflaged. However, the roof of the set of photos here indicate that the auto has a black finish instead of the white one we saw before at the Nurburgring endurance track.

The next-gen Mercedes E-Class is expected to debut in the first month of 2016. The venue of the unveiling is most likely at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), citing the information coming from the “reliable source” of WorldCarFans in Germany. From this revelation, it might be long until we see the car without its camo, or at least with a thinner and less zebra wrap.

The camouflaged E-Class has the codename W213. Looking at its spy photos, the car appears to be more spacious than its current W212 version. The next E-Class will most probably benefit from the new Modular Rear Architecture (MRA) found on the latest models of the S-Class and the C-Class. Therefore, expect it to be lighter than its existing version.

Several sources also claimed that the next Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be equipped with a straight inline-six engine powered by diesel and gasoline. The standard diesel model of the car has been predicted to carry an output of around 313 hp.
