Mercedes-AMG GT S Debuts As DTM Safety Car

The Mercedes-AMG GT S is considered as among the best luxury supercars in the market. But, it appears that some people have other plans for this supercar from the German luxury vehicle manufacturer.

The AMG GT S is set to make its first appearance as the official safety vehicle during the second DTM race, as shown on a report from gtspirit.com. The sports car will serve as a replacement for the C63 AMG Black Series, which was used as the DTM safety car at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz from 2012 until 2014.

The Mercedes-AMG GT S will feature a light bar installed on its roof along with the Edition 1 aerodynamics package. The luxury sports car will also have a number of stickers placed on different parts of its body along with green license plate lights at the back. Jurgen Kastenholz will take the wheel of the vehicle when it makes its first appearance in the DTM racing series of Germany.
