Lorinser launched its new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz C400 4MATIC. The kit includes mild cosmetic enhancements to the C-Class as well as an engine upgrade.

The noticeable modifications in the Mercedes-Benz C400 4MATIC are found in its grille, bumpers, exhaust system, and wheels. The grille was completely blacked out, and the bumpers were molded to appear more aggressive. In addition, the car benefited from quadruple chrome tailpipes. Then, five-spoke alloy wheels were fitted to complete the sportier appeal of the car.

Beneath the hood rests the usual 3.0-liter biturbo direct-injection V6 power unit of Mercedes with its output distributed in all of its four wheels through the standard seven-speed automatic gearbox. The engine has been reconfigured to deliver up to 383 hp and 580 Nm of torque. Compared to the normal C400 4MATIC model, the Lorinser-tuned variant’s power is higher by 55 hp and 100 Nm.

The source said the tuner did not mention anything about the acceleration or the top speed of the tuned C-Class. However, it should be noted that the standard version of the car could sprint from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.2 seconds. On the other hand, its top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km/h. Therefore, expect the Lorinser Mercedes-Benz C400 4MATIC to have a better acceleration time. We hope that its maximum speed has been enhanced too.
