The German luxury vehicle manufacturer have hyped up the features of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 Coupe S, which they consider as a serious rival to the entry of BMW in the same market segment. As part of the hype for the GLE63 Coupe S, professional tennis player and Mercedes brand ambassador Roger Federer promoted the new crossover coupe, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com.

The No. 2 tennis player in the world took part in an advertisement endorsing the GLE63 Coupe S. The commercial starts by asking how you can remain on top of your game when you have been on it for a very long time. It basically hints at staying ahead of everyone else.

The GLE63 Coupe S tries to remain ahead of its competition with a number of features including an engine that is capable of producing 585HP of power and a torque of 750 Nm. While the engine is more than 2,300 kilograms in weight, the coupe is still capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h or 62 mph within 4.2 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h or 155 mph.

The 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 Coupe S also comes with an AMG performance exhaust system, the 7G-Tronic transmission system, dynamic select drive modes, and 22-inch light alloy wheels.

A number of industry watchers are unconvinced that Mercedes-Benz set the standards when it comes to innovative technologies in the auto industry. While similar enhancements were also made by other vehicle manufacturers, it should also be taken into account that the video is an advertisement of the German luxury vehicle manufacturer.

The 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 Coupe S also comes with a three-spoke performance steering wheel, bespoke interior, and AMG Sports seats featuring Nappa leather upholstery.
