Brabus is really one of the best when it comes to tuning new Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It also has a magic touch in terms of restoring the classic cars of the brand. Recently, it advertised for sale a very elegant 1970 Mercedes 280 SE Convertible.

The car can be found on sale in the official website of the tuner. The price tag is a staggering 495,000 Euros. However, looking at the specs of the auto would tell that it is worth all that money.

The popular Mercedes tuning firm was able to restore the car to perfection as it retained all its exterior and interior features, as well as its original engine. The same 3.5-liter eight-cylinder engine measuring 3,459 cm³ could be found under its hood. The power of the said engine is at 147 kW. The top speed and acceleration of the auto was not specified in the page where it was advertised, but its estimated max speed should be at 210 km/h with a sprint of zero to 100 km/h in only a span of approximately 9.5 seconds. It was very powerful indeed during its time.

One of the noticeable part of the vehicle’s technical data though was its mileage. It was like a brand-new auto because its clock only displayed zero. However, Brabus might have tinkered with it during the restoration process since its record showed a registration date of February 4, 1970.
