The Mercedes GLA with AMG Sports Package was given by Brabus a bright red coating.

The Mercedes GLA is currently among the hottest commodities in the luxury car market, especially in the U.S. where customers really love SUVs. Taking advantage of the high demand for such vehicles, Brabus just unveiled its new tuning kit for the Mercedes GLA. The famous Mercedes-Benz aftermarket tuner gave the GLA some cosmetic enhancements coupled with an extra kick in the engine.

It should be noted that the Mercedes GLA here has been fitted with the AMG Sports package, which explains its buffed up look noticeable in the massive air intakes located at the front bumper plus the wide rear wing. Then, there are the improved fender flares, rear diffuser, quad exhaust tips, carbon fiber grilles, and a set of black Brabus Monoblock wheels.

First, the Mercedes GLA has been given a bright red finish with a combination of black to highlight the key features of the installed sports package. Then, the tuner gave the auto its PowerXtra D3 engine treatment to add around 40 hp and 60 Nm to its output. Such configuration results to a sprint of zero to 100 km/h in mere 8 seconds.

This particular tuning kit of Brabus was specially made for a GLA carrying a 2.1-liter diesel engine. However, the tuner also offers other packages for other variants of the vehicle such as the GLA 250 and GLA 45 AMG.

Other modifications in this bright red Mercedes GLA could be found in its suspension, brakes, and interior. In the cabin of the compact SUV are the signature carpets, aluminum pedals, logo of Brabus, and the illuminated side sills.
