ARES Atelier reveals its long-stretched Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL.

ARES Atelier, famous for transforming various luxury vehicles into ultra-luxurious units, just released photos of its new project involving the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The latest masterpiece of the company looked quite different from its previous projects because it took the flagship car of the three-pointed star brand and stretched it into an extra-extra-long size, hence its name the Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL.

We all know by now that the Mercedes S600 Pullman is nearing its official launch due to the developments we’ve seen so far in its spy shots. However, it seems like the tuner beat Mercedes to it with its XXL car.

There are plenty of things in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL that will let you enjoy your money’s worth. Of course, that’s if you have a very fat bank account stashed somewhere which is enough to buy you the super long car.

Although official figures are yet to be released, it was very evident in the photos that the car will feature a super long wheelbase to provide more room and comfort to its occupants in the rear. Numerous measures to strengthen the chassis were also undertaken by the tuner based from company sources.

In addition, a carbon fiber  bodykit  was installed, which incorporated redesigned bumpers, grille, side skirts, exhausts, diffuser, plus new 21-inch wheels. The side windows were even reinforced by making them 6mm thick in order to protect the occupants inside from projectiles. With that, it is presumed that its body armor has been tempered too for added protection.

Then, the Mercedes XXL interior was highlighted by nappa leather upholstery, 17-inch roof-mounted flat-screen TV, electric curtains, and high-end sound system. There is an optional add-on as well in the form of a bomb detection device.

Lastly, it was suggested by sources that the 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine of the Merc has been tuned to raise its 530 hp output to figures more than 600 hp.
