Spy photos of a new Mercedes-AMG G-Class variant recently came out. The G-Class came with a bright green finish with half of its body covered in camouflage, indicating that there must be something new in its hidden portions. Thus, expect redesigned bumpers, fenders, side skirts, diffuser, grille, air intakes and new rims in the new vehicle.

According to several sources, including WorldCarFans, the new SUV will be called the “Green Monster”. The exciting thing about it is that it will be the four-wheel version of the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6. In an interview with Tobias Moers, the Mercedes-AMG CEO revealed it will be launched “soon”, so there is a possibility that it will come out sometime in 2015.

There is no official confirmation yet of what will be powering the 4×4 version of the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6, but WCF said it will carry the same 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine found in its predecessor. Therefore, the output should be somewhere around 544 hp with 560 lb-ft of torque. The power will be distributed to both axles through a 7G-TRONIC transmission.

The same elevation and interior styling seen in the six-wheel SUV should also benefit the upcoming Mercedes-AMG G-Class. This is true with the technology present in the new SUV as well.
